Hi! I’m Femke, and welcome to Lekker by Season on Bainbridge Island!

I make healthy, delicious, engaging meals for you and your family and deliver them cool so you can simply heat up and enjoy! Lekker means ‘delicious’ in Dutch and we aim to live up to that every meal.

I cook from scratch, using whole food ingredients and organic when possible. For me it is very important to source locally. My goal is to use local ingredients wherever I can, create close to zero waste and reduce recyclable and compostable to a minimum. The meals are served in porcelain dishes and glass jars. Every week, I will have add-ons like soups, dressings, and maybe a dessert or two to add to your dinner or to enjoy later in the week.

As we are just beginning, I am currently cooking and delivering only on Tuesday. So come in, take a look at what is up next, order by Sundays at noon (or while supplies last) and enjoy your meal(s) on Tuesday night! See How it Works for more info.
